Kendriya Vidyalaya Rangapahar was incepted in the year1992
and is run by Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous
body of the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD)
Govt. of India, New Delhi. Admissions are open to all. As
per KVS guidelines seats are filled in category wise on
a priority basis. Affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, all Kendriya
Vidyalayas follow a uniform syllabus.
Kendriya Vidyalaya Rangapahar is a ‘Miniature India’
in itself and tries to in calculate in its students feeling
of Patriotism, Brotherhood and National Integration. Kendriya
Vidyalaya, Rangapahar is running currently in a temporary
building given by Army.
The Vidyalaya maintains a high standard of academic excellence
with the help of highly qualified and efficient faculty
and also provides facilities for all-round development of
its students by making available opportunities for games/sports/scouts
& guides and Co-Curricular activities (C.C.A).
