Education isn’t meant for reading of books, learning
facts, writing and cramming the notebooks but it actually
builds the character and career of a child, brings conspicuous
changes in behavior and provides all round development.
Our aim is to put forth, what is best in our students
so that they would dauntlessly face the problems in all
aspects of life and prove themselves a source of great
power to the nation as they constitute an immense reservoir
of strength. To fulfill this aim, we not only teach them
subjects but also shape them to reveal the latent genius
through many Co-curricular activities in the Vidyalaya.
To blossom the buds in the garden of education, the vidyalaya
has been divided into four houses named after four great
Indian personalities – Shivaji House, Tagore House,
Ashoka House, and Raman House. A housemaster supervises
each house with the help of a Co-House Master. CCA coordinator,
under the expert guidance of the Principal, supervises
all four houses.

This all has been systematized to stimulate a flame
of competition among the students and to motivate them
to show their potentials in extra curricular activities.
A CCA calendar is prepared and in accordance with that
various inter house competitions are organized on every
Friday for Primary and on every Saturday for Secondary
Section in the periods allotted for the purpose. Maximum
students participate in these competitions and show their
concern with great zeal and enthusiasm. The winners are
honored with prizes and certificates on Annual Day every
year.
