About Library: In modern society every human activity is organized through
institutions. Library is an institution that collect, stock,
process, organize, disseminate and distribute information
/ knowledge recorded in documents.

The school library of vidyalaya has been established with
following objectives:-
To prepare children and young students to acquire skills
in learning process, which provide them a good foundation
for going in higher /technical education after successful
completion of schooling.
To enable children and young students to set an idea of
the society and surroundings in which they live.
To in calculate in young children ethical values and build
character and to mould them into good citizen to play a
positive role in the progress and development of the Nation.
In order to achieve above objectives the Vidyalaya Library
is equipped with :-
Vidyalaya library is provided with internet facility to
access a vast amount of information available on this mode
of transmission of information.
Library has a pivotal role for
enriching the knowledge of the child and enhancing it. The
library maintains a well-rounded core collection including
reference materials to satisfy the regular needs of the
staff and students. The collection of the library takes
subjects offered besides covering project based activities,
career guidance, counseling etc. Books are available in both
English and Hindi. To encourage more teacher participation
in the library, a teacher may be allowed to purchase books.
Besides books, the library subscribes
eight Newspapers (Navbharat Times, Dainik Jagran, The
Telegraph, Indian Express, Times of India, Nagaland Post,
Dainik Purvodaya, Employment News) and Twenty Five
periodicals India Today, Sports Star, Champak (Eng. And
Hindi), Competition Success Review, Science Reporter,
Electronics for you, Tinkle, Nandan, Pratiyogita Darpan,
Biology Today, Chemistry Today, Physics for you, Maths
Today, Disney Adventure, Childrens World, G K Today,
Chandamama
Reading facilities in the Library -
comfortable seating arrangement with proper lighting in the
library. The library opens in all working days and the
entire duration of school hours.
Each class has one library periods per
week. CLASS VI to XII goes to the library during these
periods. For primary classes, the students come along with
teacher.
Computer and Internet access - The
library have a computer, which is used for storing
information of the collection, record of books and provide
internet access.
